Last Day

My last day in Boston, Saturday, Julia had to work and I ventured out to Waltham to visit another one of my favorite families, The Kuchlers.

A very pregnant Ghenya, Ben, and Ollie made me a wonderful breakfast. It was a great relaxing morning.

Benjamin is a incredibly caring friend and mentor. Hes been like an older brother to me. This is definitely a friendship that I cherish very much and I appreciate everything hes taught me. The only thing I wish is that someone would buy his some clothing that fits him. He makes pants into capris, and his long sleeves always look like theyre scared of his hands. Maybe he should just move somewhere tropical where he can just wear short sleeves and shorts?

Im sorry bud, I had to bust your chops one last time. Like I said, youre like an brother.

Heres Benjamin with the infamous Nina, who I house sat for many times. I used to walk her with my hood up, being a little embarrassed to walk along the main road with a little white fluffy dog after an elderly lady once stopped me and said "Isnt she just precious! Shes like a little lamb!"

Ollies a cute kid. I remember when he was born. I used to hate it when people said that to me, luckily I dont think he can read this just yet. If you can though, Ollie I promise I wont ever say that again. I cant wait to meet Sam!

Best wishes Kuchlers, thanks for everything, and see you soon!

After I left there it was off to the dealership to sell my car. I'll miss that car, it may have gotten a lot of flat tires, but thats really Bostons fault. This was my first large purchase after I got my first big job down in D.C.

It was sad to leave it, but like my apartments, my best memories with it involve Julia. It was a very strange feeling though to walk away not owning a car, or an apartment.

My parents arrived in Boston and picked me up from the dealership. We ran a few errands and then headed downtown to walk around and enjoy the beautiful day. Tracy and Matt swung by to say goodbye, which was sad. So many goodbyes. When Julia was off work she, my parents and I went off for the last supper.

We made reservations at Trattoria Il Panino in the North End. This is where I took Julia for our first date. Our first and last dinner in Boston. It was perfect.

A family photo.

A family stroll.

It was so nice out.

And then it was off to the airport.

It was really great having my parents and Julia there to see me off. We got to the airport early, checked in, and sat for about and hour just talking. It had been a hectic and crazy 2 weeks for Julia and I, so it felt good to just sit and talk, with the most important people in my life.

It was very hard saying goodbye. Thats all about that.

I can not wait for Julia to get here, it feels like weeks, and its been 5 days! And I cant wait for my parents, family, and friends to come visit. Youre going to love it here, I already do!

More on that later!
